An Investor had bought a property in Cottesloe with views to the ocean IF you got to the 3rd floor. Back then it was fashionable to build shared walls so this villa type duplex home was built with a top open deck that caught the available views. That the bricklayer shifted that top window out of line with the one below still urks me! But otherwise it captured the Spanish Mediterranean style the client wanted.
