Townhouses in Mandurah

A group of budget townhouses designed to look a million bucks but cost much less involved the utilization of some new cladding products.  Known as timber top, these units are double brick on concrete floor slab but the upper floor is all built in timber framing. A variety of cladding products were used to create a varied and interesting street profile.

Commercial & Mixed Use Mandurah

\
Prepared for a property developer this mixed use project sought to maximise potential and return on a suburban property in Mandurah.  Planning regulations allow an increase of building density if a combination of residential and commercial is proposed.  So the corner street facing units were proposed as full commerical offices whilst mixed use units were designed at the back accessed by a central driveway.  These were designed for a strict budget.

The corner unit was presented as a coffee shop / restaurant with outdoor seating which of course has to comply with council parking regulations. Limestone planters (buffers) were positioned to provide a sense of safety for tables on the crosswalk adjacent a busy street.
